How do I use my Rooting Rug ?
Simply sprinkle your dogs dry food into the folds of the rug and let them hunt and sniff it out, it will slow down meal times and entertain your dog at the same time.

Can I use treats in the Rug ?
Yes but ideally they should be dry treats.

How do I clean my Rooting Rug ?
Simply shake it out after use to make sure your dog didn't leave any pieces of food for the ants. It can then be hand washed or washed on a delicate washing cycle. Air dry only. DO NOT put your Rug in the dryer.

How durable are your Rugs ?

Our Rugs are made with strong fleece fabric which dries quickly and an industrial strength, non slip rubber mat that should withstand the toughest chewers!

As with any dog toy (food dispensing, interactive work-to-eat, or other), your dog should be supervised when he/she is enjoying the Rooting Rug. Always monitor your dog’s interaction with the rug to ensure they are using it appropriately and not eating or ingesting the fleece or rubber mat. Remove the Rooting Rug and put away in a safe place when the treats are gone and the mat is not in use, or if any part becomes loose, detached, or damaged. For pet use only.
